I know that if a democrat was caught saying such a thing or even if someone said that they knew someone that heard someone saying that a democrat said such a thing then it would be on Fox News for at least 72 hours the first week, Rush and Glen would spend 1/3 of their shows focusing on it and people like Frank would spout it and believe until the day they die.

George W the worst? Not sure. Bad? yes. Very bad? Yes. The worse ever? Debatable. Of the 11 presidents in my lifetime I would add to the mix of "bad", his daddy George Sr, Bill Clinton, Jimmy Carter, Gerald Ford, Richard Nixon and Lyndon Johnson. But you're probably thinking more about lives lost than corruption or weak leadership but be aware that Johnson and Nixon were responsible for many more deaths in Viet Nam than George W in Iraq. I would be happy if every candidate that wanted to run was on the ballot and every one could vote for the candidate of their choice, but that is simply not the reality of the situation. Whether you accept it or not, there are major philosophical differences between Democrats and Republicans.

I see from your sig that you are a strong Libertarian and that you believe that you think with your head. I don't agree with most Libertarian positions. As an American, that is my choice. It is easy to sit back and say the things you say, but it is a cop out. You have yet to write one sentence as to why a change from the current system would be better for this country. The only way to change the system, imho, is either from within the framework of one of the two parties, creation of a strong alternative party or armed revolution.

The only way to remove corporate influence from government is to elect people who will not sell influence and will enact laws with severe penalties for doing so.
