How did you celebrate Memorial Day?

We had a cookout and some friends put flowers on some graves at Memorial Cemetery. We would all go every year but I'm about 10 hours away right now so I sent money for flowers and had them deliver them.

Nothing spectacular. Rescued a kitten some moron threw out of their car and my husband witnessed. Luckily, her injuries were few.

Relaxed. I start my new job today.

Visited the Vietnam War Memorial in Angel Fire New Mexico.

Nothing much. My daughter and I went to some yard sales while the guys babysat and played video games. Later we grilled steaks and chicken then played cards for the rest of the evening. Exciting eh?
