That reminds me, here's another great book. It's a war story but has a different take on it.

It's called, "Drafted, by William C. Stodgel." A terrific book. It's full of war gore, adventure, heartache and laughs. The first few chapters are of the authors childhood and up until he is drafted into the army. When he has completed his training he is shipped to Viet Nam where the chaos begins. It's a really great book.

Drafted is sold online at Amazon.com, Barnes and Nobels and all over the internet. Get yourself a copy and kick back and enjoy. He added in some never before seen pix as well. This guys a terrific story teller. There are lots of visuals and not meant for the squemish.
