What is everyone's thoughts about a Florida primary do-over? While I believe that is the best choice, the result of a Obama near-tie will not make a difference in the delegate count. However, if the Florida state democratic party can raise the money fund a new primary, that their choice. If it helps them feel better, to waste the millions of dollars, because they broke DNC rules in the first place.
I'm not exactly sure why Nelson, or the Florida democrats are bitter or angry at the dilemma they created themselves. They knew the rules, they broke the rules, and now they want to waste more money fixing their mistakes. If that is not an example of Democratic stupidity I don't know what is. Do I really want the Democrats running the govt if they want to hold do-over elections every time they make a procedural mistake?
The real root of the problem is Bill Nelson and he wants to be Hillary's VP. He's leveraging his swing state to influence Hillary's nomination victory and put himself on the ticket. That is why he moved up the primary. Its incredibly sad when personal ambition destroys the good of the Democratic party and the state of Florida.
