Steve King Is Right... Al-Qaeda Will Celebrate If Barack Hussein Obama Wins-- Like They Did Last Time
The tender Barack Hussein Obama Campaign want John McCain to apologize for something Rep. Steve King (http://www.house.gov/steveking/) said to a small town newspaper in Spencer, Iowa this week.
...Something that is true.

(Daily Reporter (http://www.spencerdailyreporter.com/story/1316727.html))
American Election HQ (http://elections.foxnews.com/2008/03/08/iowa-congressman-says-terrorists-will-be-dancing-in-the-streets-if-obama-wins/) at Fox News reported on the outrage at the Obama camp:

Barack Hussein Obama’s campaign wants John McCain to denounce Iowa Rep. Steve King’s claims to a local newspaper that terrorists would be “dancing in the streets” if Obama is elected president.

The GOP congressman said he is a McCain supporter, and the Obama campaign is looking for the Arizona senator to give King the same finger wag he gave Cincinnati talk-show host Bill Cunningham when he referred to Obama three times as “Barack Hussein Obama” while introducing McCain.

“These comments have no place in our politics, and we hope Senator McCain will repudiate them like he has previous offensive comments from his supporters,” Obama spokesman Tommy Vietor said in a statement.

King made the comments in an interview with the Daily Reporter in Spencer, Iowa, basing his prediction on Obama’s pledge to pull troops out of Iraq, his Kenyan heritage and his middle name, Hussein.

“The radical Islamists, the Al Qaeda... would be dancing in the streets in greater numbers than they did on Sept. 11 because they would declare victory in this war on terror,” King said.

King said his comments were not meant to demean Obama but to warn how an Obama presidency would look to the world.
“His middle name does matter,” King said. “It matters because they read a meaning into that.”

Here is the exchange from that article (http://www.spencerdailyreporter.com/story/1316727.html)in the Spencer Daily Reporter newspaper:

"I don't want to disparage anyone because of their race, their ethnicity, their name - whatever their religion their father might have been," he said. "I'll just say this: When you think about the option of a Barack Obama potentially getting elected President of the United States -- I mean, what does this look like to the rest of the world? What does it look like to the world of Islam?"
He continued: "I will tell you that, if he is elected president, then the radical Islamists, the al-Qaida, the radical Islamists and their supporters, will be dancing in the streets in greater numbers than they did on September 11 because they will declare victory in this War on Terror."

King thinks radical Islamists will say the United States has capitulated because the Obama administration would be pulling troops out of any conflict associated with al-Qaida.

"Additionally, his middle name (Hussein) does matter," King said. "It matters because they read a meaning into that in the rest of the world.

That has a special meaning to them.

They will be dancing in the streets because of his middle name.

They will be dancing in the streets because of who his father was and because of his posture that says: Pull out of the Middle East and pull out of this conflict."

He continued: "There are implications that have to do with who he is and the position that he's taken. If he were strong on national defense and said 'I'm going to go over there and we're going to fight and we're going to win, we'll come home with a victory,' that's different.
But that's not what he said. They will be dancing in the streets if he's elected president. That has a chilling aspect on how difficult it will be to ever win this Global War on Terror."

The Obama campaign was outraged!
How could Rep. King ever stoop to this level of fear-mongering? He should immediately apologize!

But, what about Al-Qaeda?
Will the Obama campaign ask Al-Qaeda to say they’re sorry too? Or Iran, or Cuba, or Syria, or the terrorists in Gaza?

They rejoiced when the antiwar Democrats took Congress in 2006.
They’ll be dancing in the streets if Obama- or Hillary- win the White House, too.

In 2007, the US and its allies captured 8,800 terrorists and killed 2,400 more (http://gatewaypundit.blogspot.com/2008/01/90-of-suicide-bombers-in-iraq-are.html) in Iraq alone.

If Obama withdraws US forces from Iraq, you can bet that Al-Qaeda would be cheering

I wouldn't expect you to understand. Your programming doesn't allow for it.

It's the war of the old and frightened versus the young and disgusted.

Here's three cheers for youth and anger!

I want to see pictures of terrorists rejoicing.

The war in Iraq was supposed to last 6 months at the longest. How long do we stay there? Until we go broke or until China owns 50% of our debt instead of the 10% + Bushco has allowed them to get.

Frank says we've already won. Why can't we bring the troops home if we won? Isn't that you normally do after you've won a war?

If we couldn't win a 6 month, $120 Billion war after 6 years and spending over $trillion then why do we think we can do it in another 6 years and another $trillion?

Sooner or later we have to stop borrowing money from China to support this damn war.

The whole world is going to celebrate when the dems win.

It's not going to be easy to pick out the jihadists from the 6+ billion partying their asses off in every country on this planet.

Thats not necessarily a good thing!!!! So lets see, China, Russia, Mexico and
all the Muslim countries will be happy if the dems capture the WH? And thats
a good thing? That would include the people who were celebrating in the streets
while the towers smoked and burned. Its a good thing to please them??
I dont give a rats *** what the rest of the world thinks about anything.
We could be "Obaminated". Somehow thats not a comforting thought.

As Forest Gump says "STUPID IS AS STUPID DOES"...

America would become an "Obama-nation"

Get it? Phonetically similar to Abomination.

Just kidding.

Seriously, people have to stop concentrating on the guys middle name. It detracts from the important issues.

But of course it's logical for our enemies to "dance in the streets" if he gets in. What has Obama said?

He would pull out and talk to all our enemies around the world. In their eyes, he's the man they can count on to ease up on them. The only candidate they know they can keep bogged down in discussions, while they have the pressure taken off on doing whatever they want under the radar. All the stalling over the years with Saddam, Iran and North Korea should clearly show this is their general strategy. And they see Obama as a man they can play along. The only time Obama did send a strong message, it got targeted at Pakistan, an ally. And they would love us doing something there, that could help them with muslim opinion in the street, to further destabilize the Pakistani government.

All in all, Obama brought this on himself. By over-simplifying the terror issue and minimizing the concept of overall national security. The law of unintended consequences has given those who plot in secret hope, for an unhindered working environment, through his words.

Actually, China and Mexico would have been happiest with Romney. Both countries made a lot of money under Bush and Romney would have done as PNAC told him to do. It appears McCain is getting a lot of PNAC money too :(

The Middle East will be happy that a tyrant that loves torture is gone but OPEC will not be happy that America will start investing in other energy sources. Even though we're now in a debtor nation :(

I don't know if the current strategy with Iran is working. In Iraq we still have no oil, we're borrowing money form China and Saudi Arabia to pay for the war, Americans are dying and there's not much evidence that it's made us safer.
