I miss the Huffington Post feed we used to have here. Why did Tommy get rid of it?
Anyway, here is a story that caught my eye that should give a few here a chuckle.
On the Red Phone (http://www.huffingtonpost.com/larry-david/on-the-red-phone_b_90338.html)
Here's an idea for an Obama ad: a montage of Clinton's Sybillish personalities that have surfaced during the campaign with a solemn voiceover at the end saying, "Does anyone want this nut answering the phone?"
How is it that she became the one who's perceived as more equipped to answer that 3 a.m. call than the unflappable Obama? He, with the ice in his veins, who doesn't panic when he's losing or get too giddy when he's winning, who's as comfortable in his own skin as she's uncomfortable in hers. There have been times in this campaign when she seemed so unhinged that I worried she'd actually kill herself if she lost. Every day, she reminds me more and more of Adele H., who also had an obsession that drove her insane.
A few weeks ago, I started to feel sorry for her. Oh Christ, let her win already...Who cares...It's not worth it. There's not that much difference between them. She can have it. Anything to avoid watching her descend into madness. So I switched. I started rooting for her. It wasn't that hard. Compromise comes easy to me. I was on board.
And then I saw the ad.
I watched, transfixed, as she took the 3 a.m. call...and I was afraid...very afraid. Suddenly, I realized the last thing this country needs is that woman anywhere near a phone. I don't care if it's 3 a.m. or 10 p.m. or any other time. I don't want her talking to Putin, I don't want her talking to Kim Jong Il, I don't want her talking to my nephew. She needs a long rest. She needs to put on a sarong and some sun block and get away from things for a while, a nice beach somewhere -- somewhere far away, where there are...no phones.--

The ad is ridiculous, if you put some thought into it.
She's fully dressed at 3 AM.
"THE PHONE" normally thought of in split-second descisions would be the "red phone" hotline to Moscow; and she answered a white phone.
And if she were sleeping aides would awaken her, for her to call advisors or the military; not answer a phone on her own. ("Madam President, wake up! You have a phone call!")
So basically, we have a Hillary that either sleeps in her clothes, or takes the time to get dressed to answer the phone; because it's ringing away and nobody else is answering it.
Not to mention how it plays into McCain looking better qualified than her to have the "emergency discussion"; if she is supposedly better qualified than Obama. With all his years in the military and Senate Intelligence committees.

She is like a vampire,
she rests fully clothed,
and never closes her eyes,
If she doesn't get elected she will prowl in wait until she does.
Of course alternatively there is McCain who gets enraged at reporters when they bring up his supposedly secret meeting with Kerry about being his VP.
His constant, untrackable flip-flopping doesn't help either.
These two are both not exactly islands of well balanced calm to face the storms of world events.

This is the same woman that spent $11,000 on party platters and groceries before the Iowa caucases and $1,200 on Dunkin Donuts. I certainly don't think I would want whomever she appoints in charge of the country's finances much less trust her judgements in potentially life altering decisions affecting the United States. Whether it be 3:00AM or high noon.
Her and McCain, right now they both look like scary propositions.
