View Full Version : Bill Foster and the special election this weekend looks HOT!
So, Dennis Hastert quit, remember.
His seat is up for special election this weekend.
The story is, the Democratic challenger, Bill Foster, is giving the annointed republican a race too close to call, in that long-standing republican stronghold. Surprising the republicans and pundits.
I gave Foster $15, just to let him know he has support.

Thee was a NYT article talking about the race, look it up.
I haven't been watching this. I have to think that after Hastert was covering up for the house pedophile that many want to get away from that. Yet some will continue to embrace that mentality.
Look for the news on this after the weekend.
If Foster wins, it will be a major event.
Even if it's close, it will be an important bit of news.
Check this out.
Now it's illegal for any resources to be used for campaign purposes, like this email server.
It's illegal for any intern to be used for campaigning while on the public pay roll.
It's even illegal for a campaign discussion to take place any where inside congress.
It's illegal to coerce interns or any employee to campaign.
This is illegal in every way you look at it. But I guess ethics and the law only apply to the dems and not to good party members.

A last minute plea, if you have interns sitting around today, please send them over to the RNC room B2 to phone bank for Oberweis in IL-14. Staff, etc. will be making calls all day up until 9 tonight. The phone bank will open tommorrow (Election day) at 9am and end at 7pm.
Feel free to forward to friends on the Hill etc.
Haven't you heard?
Republicans are above the law.
It's okay if you're a republican. FOX news says so.
