Sadly it may be inevitable. It seems people are very content to head towards complete disaster. Unfortunately there is also little chance you will be able to do anything to protect yourself. The War on the Individual will only increase as times get worse. Your retirement savings, your personal savings, even your property will be seized partially or wholly to prolong the decline.

The politcians are never going to say "We made our bed, now we have to sleep in it." to the American people. They will continue to delay the bottom falling it out, all the while making sure when it does, the fall out is worse adn worse.

I'm afraid this is correct. Our economy is doomed. We are heading straight into another depression, no matter what the elite will tell you. This isn't a mere slowing down, this is running straight into a major crash. And as for this stipend, it's only a temporary fix as most people, rushing to fulfill their greediness of free money and I wants, will spend, spend, spend as fast as they can. This will only cause the rapid decline of the economy to slow up a mere tad and then, wham, off we go again. The stupid people with no vision and intellect will burn thru that teeny amount of money in no time. While we smarter ones will save it for an emergency.

Well, it wont fix much even for the most short sighted people. Its really a
pitance and an insult to our intelligence too.

Ive started gathering coins, small effort as it is, at least I think silver and
maybe pennies might have a little value...the paper stuff wont. Not worth
the paper its printed on.

Those of us who are in the country will be ok. We will just have to defend
ourselves from the city dwellers when they cant pilliage their local grocery
stores....they will spread to the countryside.....as long as they have gas to
travel.

I was talking to a neighbor yesterday. Everyone he knows is enlarging their
gardens this year.
