It's sad because it's true.

The stimulus package is the perfect example of how America has been fooled into believing that trickle down economics works. Suddenly when we need a strong economic boost we abandon trickle down and go with bubble up.

Why the fuck is that?

Its simple. No matter what voodoo economic theory the right wing trys to implement in the end its the masses that fill the coffers and if the few have all the money then no one is spending.

Consumer spending is 2/3s of the GDP and when the consumers have no money becuase the rich don't trickle down then the economy suffers. Its only with a strong middle class that we can have a strong economy and that goes against the grain for the rich and the seekers of wealth.

In other words, greed is what will kill this economy and for the last 7 years its been all about greed.
