I really felt bad for Hillary during Saturday Night Debate. She pushed all the right buttons. She was first to bring up the economy and the Alternative Minimum Tax. It went for naught and it will in New Hampshire.
When faced with a mania, in this case Obamamania, you have to recognize that all mania's are one trick pony's. In this instance the trick is change v. status quo.
Hillary, as any well trained lawyer will do, attacks. The minute she did, Edwards made her look like an angry ugly frustrated old woman. We just don't want to see women in that light. Hillary needs to challenge, rather than attack.
She needs to use her lawyerly skills and Socratic Method and challenge Obama & Edwards. She needs to challenge as though she were taking a deposition. Challenge, not confrontation is the way to defeat Obama. Point by point. Stick and move. Float like a butterfly and sting like a bee. Obama supporters won't hear it in NH. It's too late.
If Hillary starts now though, she could challenge him through the media and continue laying it on, point by point; through the South Carolina, Nevada & Florida round of debates.
You defeat mania with logic, one step, one point at a time. Eventually the Obamamaniacs, as the Dean-iacs did in '04, will hear and/or see the major gaffe or she'll expose him as a lightweight. It's Hillary's only shot.
