Nader trashed Hillary's military defense connections.

Hillary is afraid to be a woman, or at least to appear to be one.
Doesn't that or shouldn't that put her in conflict with herself?
Not exactly a stable foundation to be coming from.

Nader specifically accused Clinton of failing to challenge military spending because "she is a woman who doesn't want to be labeled as soft on defense, and she doesn't want to be shown as taking on big business."http://www.politico.com/news/stories/1207/7647.html

While many probably dismiss Nader support,
he is the one who started calling rampant corporate corruption & irresponsibility to account.

I think i already do support Edwards, & Nader's considered opinion contributes an alternative vantage point of affirmation.

I am very pleasantly shocked...I will herewith take the pins out of Nader and move him further from the fire.

I have always viewed him as a spoiler since the time when his blathering killed the...I can't remembr the name of the car at present...it had an airplane engine in the trunk and handles like a dream. A chevey...not "Corvair", but something akin....and later when he siphoned off Democrat votes for Gore.

You do know what went on with voter roll purges in Florida 2000 don't you?
Can't blame that on Nader or Gore,
No one but Bush's Criminal brother Jeb did that for his bro.

If John Edwards is good enough for Ralph Nadar, he's good enough for me. I really didn't see myself supporting a Dem this time, but I will now.

Dont you find that alliance a bit strange? Nadar a whistle blower on companies
who misbehave and Edwards the mouth piece that gets them off????
Which one has changed?:D

Isnt it better to think for yourself than to follow someone who says you should
vote a certain way? Oprah has a much huger following than Nadar and should
every Oprah fan vote Obama because she likes him?? If thats the case Edwards
is toast.:D

Be a free thinker

catslave...you have the players right, but missed 180 degrees on the dynamics.

Edwards made himself rich through righting or at least appearing to be correct, conditions which caused harm to enough victims to make class actions. these miscreants have to be the corporate "evildoers" ( if you enjoy our fearless leader's childlike vocabulary)

To make humongous bucks, you must...as advised by Willie Sutton, go where the money is...ie, the corporations.

Nader and Edwards might improve their hunt for "evil" through collaborative efforts, as they both are outraged by the same "injustice".

Edwards has gone after corporations, which dovetails with Nader's actions.

Mine was the Reader Digest version. And as usual the very rich elitists
who pander to the masses as their messiah give nothing but lip service
to said same. Why didnt Edwards give the 400 bucks to some shelter or
start a foundation or something really tangible....in lieu of a hair cut that is.
Hey, but hes out there fighting (who and why) for the downtrodden and
poor (again, who and why?) like he has a clue about everyday life of
the middle or lower classes.

He made his millions by exploiting the overwhelmed and twisted legal
system/courts/judges. What a noble man.:lmao2:

Better to spend 400 on a haircut,
then 1.2 Trillion in a war to neurotically prove you aren't your daddy?

You do the math,
which is the smaller amount?

$1,200,000,000,000
or
. . . . . . . . . . . 400

I can do the math
In my old fashioned math $400 dollars is one HELL of a lot less, on any day of the week.

NeoCrooks, too rich & too criminal for my blood.

I don't begrudge the rich their money. Wasn't it a $200.00 haircut?

What I do begrudge is the lack of fairness some money has brought into the system. I don't accept the golden rule. I accept that government's duty is to ensure that with freedom comes responsibility. IMHO a guy like that junk bond king back in the 80's who was able to get Congress to write a tax law so precise that only he was able to benefit. Or in Gingrich' "Contract With America" that loosened accounting rules such that we witnessed massive scandals

Is that what you're advocating Cat slave? Protect the rich and powerful so they can make money. Write laws so only the rich and powerful might benefit? When the paper money boys on Wall Street lose money just have the Fed print some more?

Edwards is right. The duty of the President is to speak for all, not just some.

Absent from your rhetoric Cat slave are our traditional values found in the phrase "enlightened self-interest" and the biblical concept of "stewardship." You wrap yourself in the bible & flag to promote oligarchy & corporate fascism. What's good for General Motors, is not necessarily good for America.

Seems to me that Cat slave and those like her haven't learned that yet. Frankly, Cat slave I don't think you do it intentionally. I think you just haven't thought things through.
