Hey you all. No matter how many posts I cram down your throats about how you're wrong and I'm right (or whatever) I still wouldn't mind meeting you all and having a beer. I'm definitely a beer person, but some good wine always hits me just right. As for hard liquor, Goldschlager, Jagermeister, certain bourbons, and spiced rum are right up my ally (aly? alli? Albaba?).

So, what are you all partial to?

I just finished up a Paulaner Double Bock and i'm working on some pale ale (I accidently picked the pale ale instead of the indian pale ale :( )

Ive always been a beer/ale type person although I love a good real Scotch and Jager is probably the worst thing for me to drink more than about 30 shots of

Really good silver tequilas - Patron Silver is excellent. My drink of choice if I'm really drinking. The silver tequilas taste more of that blue agave, and have more of the mildly psychedelic chemicals than the aged golds.

It's hard to beat good beer cold in the bottle.

I have a bottle of that in my fridge right now. On a personal level, it doesn't hold anything to Goose Island Indian Pale Ale, but it's alright. Maybe because I like maximum hops or something.

I enjoy a beer or glass of wine almost every night with dinner. May taste very depending on the food I'm serving.

Guinness, Boddingtons and various German lagers are my favorites though. For wine it's usually a Chianti or Rioja for reds and a Riesling or Pinot Gris for whites.

Hard stuff is good Polish vodka kept in the freezer. I got quite a taste for the potato stuff weill there. I will drink a good clear tequella as the drak stuff taste like it's bad Scotch.

When smoking cigars I like good port like Fonseca and a sweet scotch.

I'm not much of a wine drinker, which is too bad
because two glasses of red wine every day
is supposed to be good for your heart and
helpful in preventing heart attacks.

I don't drink hard liquor too often, but when I do,
cheap bourbon and coke is fine with me.

Bailey's Irish Cream is yummy -- tastes like candy --
but at $25 a bottle, it's a ripoff.

I don't have highbrow tastes. My tastes are strictly
working class.

I like to drink beer and lay around in a drunken stupor,
watching TV and listening to rock.http://img139.imageshack.us/img139/4343/avatardrunkcatanimationuo7.gif

I used to like spotted cow. I've now grown out of my cloudy ale phase. Maybe someday again.

if I am home making my own drinks it would have to be vodka and gatorade, it helps keep the hangovers away with the electrolytes and all, and it tastes pretty damn good all things considered... if I am out and about I have been partial to Hieneken Light or most likely a tall Capt'n n Coke, nothing like sailing with the captain into blackout oblivion...

alcohol kinda sux though, weed makes the mind go 'round if u ask me :p

Oh God, I just drank some Dogfish Head 90 Minute Imperial IPA. Bought a 4-12ounce bottle pack for about $8.30 at a local store....Words cannot explain how good this stuff is. Bonus: It's 9% alcohol.

Apparently it's won awards as well. It gets a rating of 91 at beeradvocate.com (which means it's well liked).

I think i've found a new beer to drop money on *drool*

One that Id love to try again is Swans Lager - from Oz - its probably the best tasting lager Ive ever had - but almost impossible to find in the states - the draft version of it kept me going through many a boat race when I was in Aus :)

I used to be just stright belly rot beer. The past 10 years it's been America in a Bottle. The good old J&C. Drink one glass everynight and have bought $100 special bottles of the stuff. Man it goes down smooth..

babylonians! Alcohol should be illegal

In 2000, there were approximately 85,000 deaths attributable to either excessive or risky drinking in the U.S., making alcohol the third leading actual cause of death (Mokdad, 2004).

You're right! This evil liquid should be abolished! We all know prohibition kept alcohol from being consumed and crime rates down.

*throws down beer*

I will not stand to look at this bubbly, frothy, wonderfully tasting and antioxidant containing devil juice even one more day!

Down with alcohol!
Down with booze!
Down with misidentified social problems!
