The Japanese are a fascinating people. I like to visit but I prefer living here.

While western cultures seem to take doing stupid things and enduring pain as a major bonding element among males, the Japanese do this across the board with men, women and children.

Think about it. How many good male friends do you know that have not endured some type of pain and stupidity together? Hang overs, fights, football, long trip where the car broke down, building something .....
