As we all know, those sniper videos have been making the rounds on the internet for what, almost half a year now?

But, the political environment is changing, so I guess the news managers for the big name media got the message from their masters - okay, you can show those videos now.

It is smart strategy for the Iraqis - sniping is cheap, effective, frightening - and the body armor is nothing to a fast full-powered rifle bullet.

It's like Stalingrad and Sarajevo - the war of the snipers.

Sniping is effetcive, but it doesn't rally popular support the way a real military attack would. As long as the Iraqis can't muster a serious attack, they're still politically weak.

Once again I agree(with the exception of "loving to kill babie's")with Bill.I enlisted in the U.S.Army in November 1968.My 1st tour as a 101st.Airbourne Ranger began in june at the Nha Trang Recondo Shool.By Sept.I was at camp eagle,(Hill 180 Hue Phu Bai),not as infamous as Hill 937(Hamburger Hill)It Had fallen after 9 day's (5/11 thru 5/20) of 24/7,mortar,rocket,and small arm's fire.the men who died defending H-937 kwew that it was a stategically worthless piece of real estate, still they died in it's defence...There were T.V.crew's,reporter's,any place there was a high body count.Burned women&children,Dead or alive, the folk's back home saw "some" of the worst as Walter Cronkite,Huntley,Brinkely.looked concerned, and wished their veiwer's "Good Night.""Now that's entertainment"!!!I spent the next 6 year's in the service of our country.4 of them in S.E.Asia.My L.L.R.P.Team mission success/abort ratio was one of the best.Dead Baby's & non-combatant's get F.U.B.A.R in war's just like real soldeirs.Ever see a child dieing from malnutrition?I have and truthfully,I'd rather see a child torn apart and dead than one torn apart and alive."OK,here's the plan,1st we kill all the lawyer's!" I may have strayed from the main theme here.So sorry I get dinky dua.
