Just wanted to get this started to welcome new posters and hopefully get some of the lurkers out and posting - I promise that we wont bite - hard :)
And we do have quite a range of ideology presentations (although I guess Im one of the more outspoken confusing people around here) - and certainly welcome any sides educated contributions.

Guess Ill start by welcoming Betty Blowtorch - good to see ya here

Jump in before the dictator determines this format compromises national security. What a great day 10/17/2006 for the fascist pissing on my United States Constitution.

Oh, well I suppose I should post then.

Hello there! This is so facinating to see such a recent start-up of a political website gain members. Will it become a dem board, will it become a repub board? Will it attract the crazies, or will it attract the not-so-crazies?

Exciting times, exciting times!

Abnormalia - on a serious note - welcome

On a not so serious note - doesnt really matter which way the board goes as long as people really speak their minds - hopefully(and based on what I know about some of the members from other places) - there willbe a good mix of all sides
I know in my own case, I have causes and ideas which I support that range from deeply conservative to flaming liberalism to even "dependant" (Joe Liebermans new party?)

I have been a little shy about posting
being that I am the owner of the board I don't want people to feel that I am trying to slant the board towards my views

I love debating politics but its no fun and ya never learn anything if almost everyone shares the same views

I feel democracy needs all points of views to grow
the far right and the far left define the middle

and in my humble opinion that's what has made this country great

if your reading this board and don't agree with us on certain things
please feel free to tell us why we are wrong

Grey Elk - welcome and good to see our friends from across the pond getting in to the jousts

I have to agree on Blair - even his news briefing today sounded exactly like Bush's - even down to the exact same phrases :)

Bumping this so that our newer members/guests can introduce themselves (if they feel like it) and we can welcome them in the spirit of fun :) (I know it sounds like the spirits are taking over tonight)
