God bless that little weird rich guy from Texas, he almost succeeded in giving America a true viable 3rd party option. Why haven't we seen a viable 3rd party yet? I happen to be an Independent, I don't like the Republicans, I don't like the Democrats, and I've wanted some wildcard to stir up the political landscape.

The reason we don't have a real third party is because of campaign finance. Republicans / Democrats, raise hundreds of millions in campaign dollars. How can a 3rd party compete against the juggernauts?

Campaign finance reform will never happen, too many people in Washington have a vested interest in keeping that cash cow going. Is there some way other than finding another billionaire to run, that we can create a viable third party?
