Suicide rate among military skyrockets

All but lost in the Operation Iraqi Freedom casualty count is the current suicide epidemic sweeping through the military. According to a recent CBS News study, servicemen and veterans are killing themselves at more than twice the rate of the general population.

At 17 per day and 119 per week the suicide in the military, enlisted and vets is 20.8 per 100,000 while among the general population it is 8.9 per 100,000.

How many more Mr. Bush? GWB, just how many will die for thee?

Should we really give them mental and health care? They volunteered.

I noticed that I average about $500 a year in donations to support the troops so that they can buy calling to call home and feed their families but our tax dollars are constantly being taken away from them.

It seems that most people are voting to screw them because they did volunteer.

I guess it takes a certain type of person to kill for no good reason I hate to say it but I could see this coming at the very start. I hope the mindless flag waivers take ownership of these veterans. I hate to say it but you have not seen anything yet wait until they get a little time to think about what they were involved in this phony patriotism. Many will become raging homicidal killers it is just the why the human mind works. No matter how much booze you drink or drugs you take the images of the death hunts you down 7/24 for the rest of their lives. If one of them takes out a right wing lunatic it goes with the spreading of the lies.
