Something To Keep In Mind

Four years ago today a poll of Iowa Democratic caucus-goers was released:
Howard Dean 29
Richard Gephardt 21
John Kerry 19
John Edwards 5

Basically, Hillary is not a lock by any means.

The part I like most is that after Romney wins Iowa, the 50% of undecided Republican primary voters will decide and Giuliani's dominant lead will Dean out, basically leading to the most insane and interesting election in my lifetime.

our system of electing candidates spread out over a period of time so that the sheep then jump on the bandwagon of the first state winner is pathetic

I was born in Iowa but never lived there, don't blame me if the magical underwear wearer wins :D
