Name the last movie you saw that wasn't based on one of the following:
1. A 70's TV show
2. A video game
3. A Stephen King Book
4. Another Movie
Jesus Christ. Also half of the writer's union are fucking waiters, LMAO @ them striking.
Unions are no longer relevant with the fascist economy we have now, they make themselves even more irrelevant with jokes like this.

Some unions are good. But I have to agree with this writers strike being a joke.
They should be penalized for the crap they write and have produced these days. Very little, if anything worth watching.

i just listened on the stern show to one of the strikers, they seem to be pissed that they aren't getting any money from the internet stream downloads, just people being greedy fucks, and there are way too many of them that can't write anything good anyways
I tend to think that if someone was writing something worth a damn that some how or another they would make some bank and wouldn't find a need to strike.
However, I haven't paid attention to either side and frankly, I don't give a damn.

Why write something worth a damn though when our government educated idiotic populace can't wait for the next piece of shit movie. Have you ever been at the movies and the previews come on and the preview is so ridiculously dumbed down (guys gets hit in the balls, new popular song playing in background, movie announcer guy says something so stereotypical it might as well be an SNL skit) that it insults your intelligence to watch it? People will laugfh and clap and say they can't wait to see it.

man you're reading my mind, i won't go anywhere near a movie theatre, and people are such sheep that they just laugh when the person next to them laughs, and all the "funny" people on tv don't write their own funny, it's just recycled old material updated and passed on as new writing
the best written tv in my opinion is the commercial free stuff on HBO and Showtime, some great shows and they have to be well written becasue there is no advertising revenue in them, that and some reality shows, i love those becasue they prove how mental humans are :D
