Morals. Do they cause children to kill?

Recently I read this quote and of course I'm interested in why someone would think that having values left of center would cause children to commit murder. Obviously I think this is his programming taking over and Bill, Sean and Rush are probably very proud.

Then again, maybe there's something real behind this so let's see.
I think our society's movement toward liberalism that started back in the 60's, has a lot to do with the explosion of violence among our nations youth. The erosion of family values, morality, and yes, even the movement away from religion (specifically Christianity) has a great deal to do with why we have so many children that are committing murders.
From a stereotypical standpoint a liberal might be for:
Allowing gays to marry
Women to have abortions
Basic nudity.

From a stereotypical standpoint a neocon might be for:
Death penalty
Guns
Wars

I never tries to make a connection between liberal/neocon and children committing murders but sitting thinking about what the kids are exposed to I wonder.

Children listening to NPR with no guns in the house just seem less likely to take to violence then children with lots of guns in the house listening to angry people like Bill and Rush.

I'm not trying to make the connection here but I'm following up on Radioguy trying to make a connection.

When did Neocons decide they were against guns? I thought only Dems were for gun controls and Conservatives (National Rifle Association) were against them.

I think Neocons like to have large arsenals of guns in their back rooms just in case the terrorists come knocking.

It's hard to say. The board neocons will often act like they have such high moral standards but it seems when the topic is addressed they run and hide.

I was really looking forward to understanding one of their main positions for patting themselves on the back.

Morality will always be legislated. The people demand it, some thing they just don't like and they will try and regulate it or sop it. Sure they will spin it as "best for society" or whatever, but in the end it's regulating morality.


Very few people don't favor at least one morality regulation.

But I was hoping that the programming would allow for at least some feedback. I guess it doesn't allow for much open debate. Only repeat what you've been told and when you don't know how to respond with logical debate, freak out, cut the other person off, call them anti-America or tell them to fuck off.
