I like him. If he isn't on the ticket, I'll write him in on the ballot. LOL.

At least he studied economics. That could spell fiscal responsibility.

There's always a "first" time for everything.

by the way, Democrats haven't always done any better.

have you actually looked at this guys history and voting, he has voted against every irresponsible piece of policy this government has tried to enact. Against the Iraq war, agains the Fed Reserve, against the IRS, against empire building, against creating illegal wiretapping programs, against big government. Actually know the candidate you speak of my friend.

And he's the only candidate that can defeat the Annointed One - Hillary. All other Republican candidates seem to be designed to lose to her.

Ron Paul, while not everything to everybody, would enliven public debate about the role of the Federal Government and our foreign and monetary policies.

I just saw a Nov 1 poll,
Hilary 54%; Paul 36%
Clinton (D) 54%, Paul (R) 36%http://tpmelectioncentral.com/polltracker/flpres/

that isn't winning, but damn it is at least getting in the ball park.
I would probably vote for Paul over Hillary, either that or i wouldn't vote for president. I have chosen none of the above before.

I am almost inclined to vote libertarian, green, Moonbats or anything other than Democrat or Republican.

I am going to start a new party, the Moonbat party.
We may not win elections, but no body will throw better parties.

I like that Kucinich has seen a UFO. I bet a lot of people have. I have seen things i can not rationally explain. If you could explain everything in the Universe it wouldn't be much of a Universe would it? Not really worth the effort.

So what exactly are you trying to say, because someone saw a UFO we should vote for them for president. Sometimes you say really on point good tihngs ,sometimes you let the drugs you did take over your mind and let it run away with thoughts...

My frame of reference is very independent. I believe more-so than the average.
I don't feel any great need to torturously explain or translate my view [sense of things] so that others will understand it. I don't deny the need/desire to interact with other minds of this world, but i don't have any problem talking to the sun & the moon, the sky or my cats. In a sense communicating with a hypothetical or imagined mind(s). I am not torturously human or American or male. I am also to some degree universal. My interface with it [divorced of humanity] may easily under concievable circumstances be more important. Certainly my interface with myself is probably the most essential one i have.
I don't mean that to be offensive, but i must be honest with myself, & under decent circumstances to/with others.

I hope there is no stringent pre-requisite that a 'point' must be [being] made in every post.
I hope in this somewhat off the beaten path place raw, not-yet-fully formed thinking can take place.
I certainly think that is a huge deficit in the American consciousness, that the expectation is that all our thinking be ready made, uniform factory assembly line products. It can be so toxic. So risky, putting all your eggs in one basket.
It is like in the American public arena it is some intense, high pressure cooker, where only the most brutally tough can persist. Some of the most wonderful things in life are its delicacies.

I think my posts are sometimes pithy an sharp and sometimes rambling & one has to sort through them for the useful bits. If in people's busy lives that is too much bother & i accept that as legitimate they can ignore me & my posts. I always have the option of creating a second imaginary self & discussing issues with them.

I'm not really saying anything in particular, i just find it interesting.
Do aliens only seem to appear to certain types of people? Open minded ones? Are they afraid to appear to particularly ensconced people? Or do these people simply not notice them? I suppose they could be the imaginings of open minded people, but i don't really believe that.

Again with the Aliens, listen in all likelyhood, open minds have nothing to do with it. Chance and people who refuse to believe interpret it as something different. Besides, if they can bridge the gap of space, then they are probably at least a couple thousand years ahaed of us in technology. But think about it, they could be a couple million of years ahead of us in evolution. IF thats the case, the comparison would be like us studying ants. psychologicaly we don't feel the need to justify our existence or morality to ants.

2nd, as for your points, you can write posts that meander with no real point or purpose, thats your perogative. I simply suggested that you keep thsoe to a minimum, because they take away from your more intelligent postings.

Truth is independent of my mind.
either it stands on its own merit or not.
I don't filter my thought process i simply think.
Some thoughts will seem to make sense at one point, others may seem to at some other point.
Mine nor anyone else's [very likely] is the font of unending & perfect truth.
Putting all one's eggs in one basket is risky & non-strategic.

since i am not doing english papers, corporate or government work i am uninhibitied & perhaps irresponsible. consider yourself advised.

An interactive dialogue of necessity must be raw & unfinished.
Unlike a scholastic debate it is not exclusively to score points, or add to a resume.
It is about the thinking process itself, not solely about finished thoughts.
Finished thoughts are by definition, dead, terminal. Unfinished thinking are those ideas that are open ended. Finished thoughts may have uses, but it is improbable that they will be the ultimate truth to the end of eternity. More likely the best of them will be a good approximation over local time.

I express partly compulsively. For myself. Partly as a reference that i can go back to to reexamine something, although i only very rarely do. I usually just keep running on.

I am not my posts. My mind is not my posts. They are simply transitory reflections of it.

I would like to see a rational deconstruction & reconstruction of mine & other's thinking, but too often it becomes a kind of psychological war where we are just trying to maintain, ego credibility space. It is more about claiming territory than coming up with needed solutions. Like cats or dogs pissing to mark territory. But if that isn't ultimately to do actual logic re-construction then we are in trouble indeed.

I accept your advisement, but reserve my counter.

Ron Paul for President. I've been saying that for many years. I was extremely happy to see him throw in his bid. And he's made enormous progress, better than I ever expected. This is all very encouraging and keeps me optimistic about the state of our nation.

Win or lose, this is sending a strong message to the corporate party (by which I mean the dems and reps) and its financiers. The more support we can give Ron Paul, the stronger and more effective that message will be.

honestly my spelling is pretty crappy, but spell checks & a lot of 'define: ' google & dictionary checks are all that keep me mostly correct. even then sometimes i just give up & leave in something misspelled.

took enough narcotics? lol
