Month's ago I posted one of these, and said "They've got to be beating the bushes to catch a democrat in a gay scandal, hopefully we'll see one soon.".

But you know, I can't recall a single gay democrat scandal since.

This guys just a GOP statie, getting some man on man action during a republican retreat. And now he's top page news.

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/21568392/

A Republican state legislator who repeatedly voted against gay rights measures resigned his seat Wednesday amid allegations he had sex with a man he met at an erotic video store while in Spokane on a GOP retreat.
...
Three days earlier, Curtis had insisted to his local newspaper that he was not gay and that sex was not involved in what he said was an extortion attempt by a man last week.

But in police reports, Curtis said he was being extorted by a man he had sex with in a Spokane hotel room. The other man contends Curtis reneged on a promise to pay $1,000 for sex.

These guys are out of touch with reality on so many levels.

They are like schizophrenic.

They are not coherent rational people.

Flying in Fantasyland.

Complete Sociopaths. Engaging on the outside, kinked up & twisted on the inside, even beyond their own awareness. Bizarre.

It's so sad that people spent so many years believing that the any political party has moral values. The party that spends the most time talking about values are almost always the ones with the fewest.

I have a question. Why do we hold the WA gang to a moral code of behavior
but do not hold them accountable when they do things that hurt our country?

Shouldnt we pick our battles? Most important one first?

I absolutely agree, Cat Slave, but you must admit this was used at least as harshly against Clinton.

Additionally the majority of Republicans also trumpet being the moral standard bearers so it puts a whole new tweak on it.

Sex is a biological imperative. Trying to repress it as though it doesn't exist can only lead to psychological damage. I could really give a shit about it as long as they aren't hurting anyone. Of course when they condemn others for exactly what they are doing, that is twisted.

And look at Larry Craig, in COMPLETE denial.
There is something wrong with these people's brains. Like they have split personalities. That is substantively problematic.
Of course anyone watching would see by their legislative actions that these people are either corrupt, mentally ill or both.

Do you want someone with multiple personalities to be in public office?
How would you know which personality you were talking to? One might agree & the other disagree. It is just too absurd to ponder.

To be practical, Americans are apparently neurotic about sex. So when evil people who have gotten away with murder, mass murder & looting the treasury get caught in sex scandals i say 'bring it on'.
It may not be for this crime, but they sure the fuck deserve the punishment.
