I think most know the story about a poor dude beaten & robbed on the street......... All the good ppl walk right past him, even the self-proclaimed followers of God................
"God helps those that help themselves"
I think this pict about sums it up............
A friend tells a story about how a guy was making a delivery in Washington, DC where he slipped, fell and broke his leg while some boxes landed on top of him. My buddy said he thought he saw something strange as he was walking to work from the metro. Dozens if not hundreds of people walked by and ignored this man.
Ray simply moved the boxes, called 911 and helped the man sit up until an ambulance arrived. It was amazing at how many people just didn't care enough to help out some guy injured on the street.

That may be a regional behavior as opposed to political or religious behavior. Being from the South I can attest to the fact that if that happened to someone here people would be all over him trying to help. Without a second thought. Ive seen more than just a few incidents from wrecks, accidents of all kinds etc. and that simply would not happen here and Ive helped them myself.
