Anti-War network travels to Boston rally

In 10 [11?] major cities across the country this Saturday, hundreds of thousands of war activists will march with one goal in mind: ending the war in Iraq.
"The vast majority of students here on campus are against the war," said University of Massachusetts Campus Anti-war Network (CAN) member Dan Keefe. "We are demanding an end to funding for the Iraq War. We don't want to attack Iran. We are asking for more support from our communities, and our cities that have gone without, like New Orleans and Minneapolis."
The University of Massachusetts chapter of the CAN is arranging for chartered buses to be available for student activists to take out to Boston the morning of the rally. CAN is selling bus tickets for $15 to $20, on a sliding scale.
So far over 60 people have purchased tickets, with as many as another 100 possibly joining them by Saturday.
Rallies and marches will take place tomorrow, Oct. 27, in Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, New York City, New Orleans, Orlando, Philadelphia, Salt Lake City, San Francisco and Seattle.http://media.www.dailycollegian.com/media/storage/paper874/news/2007/10/26/News/AntiWar.Network.Travels.To.Boston.Rally-3059090.shtml
If you are against the Iraq war & likely invasion of Iran & you have Saturday free you might want to check your city to see if a rally is scheduled near you & join it.
Put on your headphones & boogie against Needless US aggression.
Have a good time.
Show everyone it is a good time to be opposed to needless, violent wars.
Its fun 2
Party for Peace.

Gee, I suppose that bashing the United States would be considered "Fun" to a liberal, but I think I'll pass.

Yeah I suppose you're right. With all the rhetoric about invading Iran, I'm sure you wouldn't want anyone to notice your woody in public.

Why is a war protest considered bashing the United States? One of our freedoms and the thing that we're trying to bring to some parts of the world is the ability to openly protest and question our leaders.
I was all for the Afghanistan war but we left without finishing the job. I was never for the Iraq war and I'm still not but we're going to have troops there when my 3 year old starts high school. There's no way around it now.
I am for stopping aggression with Iran. I really believe all the talk is about raising oil prices. Sure, I could be wrong when it comes to Iran but I was totally, 100% correct about Iraq in many ways.

So this is the big one right disrupter ? This is going to be the mother of all rallies, it will be a virtual loon-fest complete with burning Bush in effigy to phoney flag draped coffins , (which is the only time that liberals actually support the troops , when they're dead so they can support thier own twisted agenda )
WHEN HAS ANY WAR PROTEST EVER ENDED A WAR ?
The sad reality is that these war protests actually prolong the war and result in higher American casualties in that they provide the various terrorist organizations with motivation and incentive
Instead of bashing my country disrupter why not eliminate the middle man , go join up with Al-quada and kill americans since that's usually the end result of all war rallies

Why is it, that liberals have to always resort to lies? Is it just in your nature, or is it the only way to legitimize your despicable ideology?
Because all anyone has to do is know how to read English, to know that I didn't say anything to "defile" anyones free speech. I merely stated that going to some gathering to protest "Needless US aggression", (aka, to bash America) is an activity I don't find appealing.

You better go hide in your bomb shelter with some vaseline and those free condoms the AIDS clinic gave you before the "loons" find out which trailer you live in. I'm sure they'll only need to follow the aroma of the crack burning over an open pipe.

So hiring people with no experience to rebuild Iraq helped speed up the victory? The President spending most of his time campaigning instead of focusing on the war in the early stages made things better? The administration following the words of the AEI and just expecting the Iraqis to all rejoice and band together was a good course of action?
Words and demonstrations do not cause wars to fail. Poor planning and execution do.

radioguy says expressing a legitimate opinion is 'Bashing the United States'
He probably supports the guy who was selling faulty armor that didn't even stop bullets for soldiers to wear. That is how he 'cares' for soldiers by letting them die.
Nothing but wicked liars, cheats & thieves.
