here is the real story behind the fixed news spin: FISA worked fine until the bush admin tried to circumvent and therefore expose the most well hidden court in the USA :thumbsup:

Kinky - unfortunately - the statement about "eavesdropping on foreigners" isnt exactly what the new bill says - it says anyone outside of the US (which includes US citizens) - and allows the eavesdropping to occur on ISP servers and telecom frames inside the US

According to the last Foreign Intelligence Committee meetings on C-Span, both sides agree that the last revision had wording in the hastily added ammendment that wasn't specific enough; and should be revised.
