On a fall night in 2003, Harvard undergrad and computer programming genius Mark Zuckerberg sits down at his computer and heatedly begins working on a new idea. In a fury of blogging and programming, what begins in his dorm room soon becomes a global social network and a revolution in communication. A mere six years and 500 million friends later, Mark Zuckerberg is the youngest billionaire in history... but for this entrepreneur, success leads to both personal and legal complications.

There really hasn't been a great film about the internet yet. Knowing David Fincher's talent and the fact that this is being released later in the year + early positive buzz I'm highly anticipating this film. Perhaps too early to judge yet but this has all the makings of a Best Picture nomination at least.

Actually, judging from this clip, it looks to be a pretty interesting flick. I have never heard of it. I'll keep a watch out for it now that I have. I've seen that young man playing the lead in a couple of other flicks and he seems to be a good actor...

David Fincher...
After he made Se7en I became a fan.
After he made The Game I became a bigger fan.
After he made Fight Club I became a fan for life.
He proved himself again with The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.
Zodiac and Panic Room were standard but still enthralling enough to recommend.

I love the murky-ness of the cinematography in his films. WTF is with all that key lighting everywhere!!?? Someone's gonna cause a fire, lol Editing is also extremely sharp with every one of his films. The only bad film he ever directed was Alien 3 and that was his first feature length film. Also has directed a lot of cool MTV music videos. He's arguably one of the top directors in Hollywood today.

The story really doesn't appeal to me all that much I don't even have a Facebook account. But I can see how a skilled filmmaker could work his magic to make it appealing. Film always has potential possibilities for minor film sub-genre expansions.

Classic Sorkin with the witty fast paced dialog. It's how you'd want people to talk in a legal deposition although I doubt their lawyers would agree.

Eman created Facebook and some Harvard college kids stole it from him.

That movie should be about Eman.

Well no. Even though you are correct, I wanted to stay on topic.
