The Democrats took another crack at cutting off funding for the Iraq war in the Senate Thursday, and got clobbered on a 70-28 vote. Every Republican voted against the amendment, along with 20 Democrats that also said "Nay".

Then on Friday, the Democrats lost another one, falling 13 votes short of passing an amendment that would have ordered most U.S. troops home from Iraq in nine months, culminating a losing week for Democrats who failed to push through any anti-war proposal.

So, the final score is...

America _____ 2
Democrats ___0

If they only had some credible plan (for security in the region and not just pulling troops out for the sake of pulling out), then they'd make more sense.

My kid just got home yesterday from Sadr City (with some really cool videos he took) for a three week leave; and he has no regrets ...... and gets along very well with his Iraqi Army counterparts. He hates the smell and the heat, but he does believe in what he's doing; even after seeing buddies killed. I was actually surprised. I expected him to feel differently.

LOL.. Clearly, these criminally insane, right-wing degenerate dirt-bags love to know more American kids will be sentenced to come back without arms, legs or in rubber bags from Iraq-Nam, and soon, Iran.

It's amusing to observe how these GOP Zio-Commie Dogs have been programmed to slaver and drool at the mere thought of more dead Americans and Iraqis on behalf of Israel.

For them, draining our treasury, destroying our economy, dragging our reputation through a sewer, and wasting American lives in the sand dunes of Iraq-Nam and Iran is a great "victory".

And it is, indeed, a victory - for them...but certainly NOT for America.
