That's right...The Koch brothers, who funded the massive anti healthcare reform movement, have applied for benefits from the fund that they oppose.

They, along with a number of red states who've brought lawsuits against the govt. over healthcare reform, have applied for, and been approved for benefits from the legislation they publicly oppose.

It's no wonder all they want to talk about is THE SURGE

Well, that, and those ranches that were taken over by Mexicans:lmao2:

Next time, post the real story instead of the latest fiction Soros' "ThinkProgress" shits out, as it's always half the story.

It's a transitional plan for early retirees, not "free" shit for the lazy fucks.
Twenty two Kansas businesses and unions are among the first group accepted into a federal program that will help these entities provide health insurance coverage for early retirees.

Wichita-based Koch Industries Inc. (http://wichita.bizjournals.com/wichita/related_content.html?topic=Koch%20Industries%20Inc ) is on the list as are others with local ties, such as Westar Energy (http://wichita.bizjournals.com/wichita/related_content.html?topic=Westar%20Energy), Waddell & Reed Inc. (http://wichita.bizjournals.com/wichita/related_content.html?topic=Waddell%20%26%20Reed%20 Inc) and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Kansas Inc. (http://wichita.bizjournals.com/wichita/related_content.html?topic=Blue%20Cross%20Blue%20S hield%20of%20Kansas%20Inc)

They are among the nearly 2,000 employers, government entities, educational institutions, nonprofit organizations and unions that will receive reimbursements from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services for providing health insurance for people who retire early.

Created by the federal health care law, the program serves as a bridge to 2014 when health insurance exchanges will be formed. The early retiree initiative provides $5 billion in federal aid to employers and unions to help them maintain coverage for people age 55 and older who are not yet eligible for Medicare.

They are disgusting. They make me sick.

Did you know that Ayn Rand didn't believe in a higher power? These people only believe on the ground they stand on, nothing else. No spiritual aspirations at all. Like I said, the epitome of selfishness and individualism.

Minty, I can understand your concern about the source and even though you try to ignore the bank roll behind your programs, you certainly know about how Kock Industries has been bank rolling the Tea Party movement don't you?

The Tea Party is not a single entity, but a grassroots movement splintered into many factions. For example, there are three Tea Party groups in my town, and various ones throughout Florida. Both of our Senate candidates were supported by a separate Tea Party. Each Tea Party does not dance to the same drummer, as the left wing rumor has it.

Do you know what a grass roots movement is?

Not nearly as sick and disgusted as I am about the events which transpired. You were riding high when Obama/Pelosi were thumbing their nose at the public and forcing it down their throats. Let's see how how high you're riding when their water carriers are kicked to the curb in Nov and repeal efforts get underway.

I was referring to the Koch brothers.

This rally was mostly funded by the Koch brothers, a pair of Libertarians who follow Ayn Rand's Objectivism to the letter.

I wonder if Glenn Beck's followers know that Ayn Rand didn't believe in a higher power? I know that Glenn Beck knows it, and is probably laughing all the way to the bank. But I wonder what all these Christians would say if they knew.

Do you know what a grass roots movement is?Yes, I do. It is a movement by the people. There are factions of the Tea Party all over the US. Just because the concept or a particular group originated it, doesn't mean the entire movement is phony.

I support the Tea Party and I've never been to a single rally. Just because people don't actually participate doesn't mean they aren't in complete agreement with what they represent.

Fox News was doing PR work for it. It was started using lines from Rush Limbaugh. It has major corporate sponsors.

Before Limbaugh promoted it, it didn't exist at all.

Before Fox News started spending huge amounts of money on it, it had no momentum at all.

Murdoch, Mays and Koch have all been involved in creating it and fueling it. That's not a grass roots movement. That's a corporately manufactured movement.

You subscribe to Murdoch media more than most so of course you support it. You're programmed to do so.

You subscribe to Murdoch media more than most so of course you support it. You're programmed to do so.Are you implying no one in this country is genuinely opposed to this healthcare plan, the deficits and the spending? That all of the people who went to the town halls, the Tea Parties, the participants at the 8/28 event last week were all "paid"?

With all due respect, if you genuinely believe that, you've been duped by the Soros-run affiliates and the Journolist media, all of which are completely detached from the climate in mainstream America. The passion you see from the Tea Party cannot be bought, but I imagine you are bright enough to know that already.

There is no such thing as someone being "programmed" from watching a TV show. While I share Glenn Beck's views, he does not determine my opinions. He could appeal to his viewers today to support the mosque in NYC and I would still be adamantly against it. I don't compromise my principles and values for anyone, certainly not a stranger on TV.

For two years, you've witnessed an overreaching govt practicing Chicago thug politics, thumbing their nose and ignoring the will of the people, while their water carriers actively branded of a large group of people as racists. Seriously, how long did you think that would go on before it bit the collective left in the ass? Now, people are completely fed up to the point of no return. I knew it was coming, just a matter of time.

And you want to exchange Chicago politics with what, with the same old and tired Republican policies, or with something new and different? With what? With someone like Sharon Angle and Joe Miller, who want to privatize SS and Medicare? :dunno:
