WTF Dept: A middle school in Mississippi is holding elections that dictate only a white kid can be class president - though a black kid can be vice-president (in 8th grade only. No word on what positions are open to Asians or, God forbid, Hispanics. As Colbert would have it, nation, this is real.

Did you actually read the stories you posted links to?

For the sake of "Racial Diversity" they alternate each year which race can run for a given office. It's political correctness run amok; based on 30 years of trying to achieve racial equality. It's stupid; but it's a product of the "quota mentality".

It's pathetic to watch. That's why I stay away for days at a time. It just gets too repulsive.
