I personally know most of the reporters and editors of the newspapers in the Florida Panhandle and I have to report they do know when they are getting a quirky turn in a headline.

They spend hours trying to work those funny phrases into the stories and if they can get one into a headline it is a high five moment.

If they can get one of their stories on Fark it is a special bonus.

My newspaper the Northwest Florida Daily News has the distinction of having the most "Florida" tagged stories on Fark.com.
