sorry, i didn't see this post & double posted the story,
i guess i didn't scan down the list far enough,

I feel much safer with Blackwater out of the country when they can only kill people there. I don't like them here at all.

SM - I doubt if they will actually leave - the government doesnt have any power over the US whatsoever - and those 100,000 mercenaries are needed terribly - if they leave the US wil be forced into a draft

I still have to see the details of an investigation. But, it's a pretty good hit to diplomacy. You wonder if it was planned out to end up this way. Blackwater is the security firm for US diplomats in Iraq. This sets them back now. It all started with a bombing. Seems like it was an ambush.
From your article:
"Blackwater's employees were protecting a U.S. official when they were hit by "a large explosive device, then repeated small-arms fire -- and to the point where it disabled one of the vehicles, and the vehicle had to be towed out of the firefight," said Marty Strong, vice president of Blackwater USA.
A senior industry source said Blackwater guards had escorted a State Department group to a meeting with U.S. Agency for International Development officials in Mansour before the shootings.
A car bomb went off about 80 feet (25 meters) from the meeting site and the contractors started evacuating the State Department officials, he said. A State Department report on the attack said the convoy came under fire from an estimated eight to 10 people, some in Iraqi police uniforms."

Blackwater is a lawless mercenary firm,
looting the federal treasury & creating anti-american hatred with their wanton actions.

A big problem in Iraq is infiltration of the police and interior ministry. There are 9000 national police under investigation right now. So the police can't automatically be trusted.

This effectively paralyzes any work by the 1000 members of the State Department's diplomatic corp. People working on everything from reconcilliation to local reconstruction. Because the State Department doesn't want military escort security. The military restricts their freedom to move as freely. Blackwater is integrated into every day-to-day movement of anybody involved in the political and governmental work in Iraq.
U.S. bans much diplomatic travel in Iraq

Gee, I didn't see anything in that CNN story that said Blackwater was "a lawless mercenary firm". They must not have uncovered that. Thank god we have you disrupter to give us the real truth. :lmao2:

It never ceases to amaze me - the simplistic nature of everyone's understanding of things.

The US military & Government neocons have been infiltrated with criminal gangsters, and lawless ideologues.
Maybe you should clean your own house first before you start bitching about Iraq security & military forces, eh, turd-surfer?
AND 'simplistic' ideas? how about 'victory' in Iraq? wtf does that even mean at this point?
waiting for jesus to descend from the sky? or mohammed perhaps?
You are just bizarre in your thought process.
excuse me, your lack-of-thought process that is.
