Virus (Again) on Facebook

There's alot of "viral" stuff being sent today for some reason on Facebook. I received notifications from friends today telling me "they've lost XX # of pounds, click here," (and they're 110 pound women!!!) or "Here's a deal on an IPhone," etc. from people who could give a rat's ass about I-Phones!!
Please don't click on any of this crap. Received MANY bogus emails today from hacked accounts.
If you receive one, I would recommend, ..disconnect from Al Gore's "Internets" and do a virus scan.

No clue Bill - what I do know is these viruses are quite bad. Usually require a complete wipe of the HD.

I would recommend all backing up filed they'd not like to lose.

I am on facebook alot and have not had any problems with them at all, of course i don't play the games either and scan after every session when i log off with advanced system care and microsoft security essentials.
BTW wb Chief I actually missed you being on here...this is your good ol buddy life long dem! whats with my name? very long story but the short version Minty pissed me off i ranted and spammed the shit out of the board and got banned..came back under this name as a joke and it stuck.
