GOOD JOB FRANKIE! You are learning the art of smear perfectly taking 17 seconds of what was a larger comment/speech and making it into something else worse! you do you blogger hero Jim Hoft well!:lmao2: I love this comment on you tube about it, pretty much sums things up!
What is this? This is a right wing smear. The full context of the clip is that Barack Obama was honoring Pearl by signing the Daniel Pearl Freedom of the Press Act when he made the comments in question. The people standing next to Obama in the video are Pearl's widow and son.

And the idiocy never ends...
The idiocy is that frank takes a video that snips 3:56 of speech into a 17 second blurb of something WITHOUT putting things into a broader sense with the ONLY purpose being to smear Obama and make him look bad. Pearls wife and young son were there and they did not seem to have a problem with what was said...if you watch the WHOLE video you will see why (but I doubt you cons will cause that means you will see the truth):banghead:

Yeah, but even you acknowledging it won't stop frankie from posting this kind of bullshit. You were commenting about frankie right?

As soon as I saw the duration of the video was only 17 seconds, I automatically knew it was just more of Rush Limbaugh Jr's pablum puking nonsense

And, just to make the cheese more binding:
"All around the world there are enormously courageous journalists and bloggers who, at great risk to themselves, are trying to shine a light on the critical issues that the people of their country face; who are the frontlines against tyranny and oppression. And obviously the loss of Daniel Pearl was one of those moments that captured the world’s imagination because it reminded us of how valuable a free press is, and it reminded us that there are those who would go to any length in order to silence journalists around the world.
What this act does is it sends a strong message from the United States government and from the State Department that we are paying attention to how other governments are operating when it comes to the press. It has the State Department each year chronicling how press freedom is operating as one component of our human rights assessment, but it also looks at countries that are -- governments that are specifically condoning or facilitating this kind of press repression, singles them out and subjects them to the gaze of world opinion in ways that I think are extraordinarily important."
(Ah yes, I know Frank ! Quoting the whole thing is (Waaah!) CHEATING !!)

what I find funny is how no republican or conservative besides minty has even put their stamp on this one and even she avoided my reply with the link. Maybe some are coming to their senses and realize Frankie is a rush limbaugh and jim hoft wannabe and he fails miserably every time!?:dunno:

I see you are deciding to live in your own little world and refuse to address the FULL context of what was said via the link I posted and the transcript provided...gee nooooooo surprise there! you and Franks silence proves to me that all you care about is smearing Obama in any way shape or form. Personally I am not too fond of the guy but refuse to sit back and watch this idiotic attempt at fear and smear for the only purpose of "trying" and failing to make Obama look like some thoughtless prick.

This Prez talks too much and means too little.
These courageous journalists and bloggers are in the thick of oppression and are fighting for their very survival. When the citizens of Iran tried to stand up against the regime this prez did nothing to support them.
WHY hasn't KSM been EXECUTED for what he did to Pearl. We have him; he's sitting on his coddled ass in Gitmo.
"...how valuable a free press is..."
- except for Fox News. They don't glamorize him.
"....send a strong message..."
sure, sure, he's all about the strong message and the do NOTHING in reality.
He'll stand by and do nothing while Iran builds a bomb, and not even lift a finger to stop that lunatic in North Korea from building, testing and selling nukes, all the while treating the North Korean citizens like cockroaches while he lives in splendor. Talk about human rights abuses.
He is a weak prez, and our enemies know it. Meanwhile they bide their time and make destructive plans. Nero would be proud.
Too much yackity yak and not enough balls.

I am willing to wait for you to come up with something better, don't feel rushed to even lower standards of drivel. Maybe you'll be inspired for something approaching wit.
Other board? The one where I showed you what independent, bias, and partisan actually meant?:lmao2:

Other board? The one where I showed you what independent, bias, and partisan actually meant?:lmao2: I mean the Obama worshipper board where people were instabanned for making a statement as benign as "I disagree with Obamacare".
Again, you're an Obama voter who supports Single Payer healthcare. That's the "Independent" equivalent of a Christian Evangelical who wants to overturn Roe V Wade.
You may be fooling other people here, but you can't fool me. I've seen all the Obama lovin' you've participated in at PGrave.
Poor mintycrite, can't work wiki to save her soul.:p Again, I'm not familiar with the gay, Bammybagger lingo. Maybe if you'd take a break from baggin' Bammy's balls, you'd come up with something more creative and clever.
