The thing is that Rush can be busted for lying everyday and it won't matter. People love the emotion that's been programmed into them. He could tell them that the sky should be green. That it used to green. That Obama turned it blue and we need to make it green again. Within a year or so his listeners would be arguing about how the sky used to be green.
