OK - no I wasnt in the closet - for those that have followed my postings - Im just a little sarcastic when it comes to the large percentage of the population that needs "faith" in fairy-tales to exist
Fortunately there is an alternative - its called reality!
You too can find out whats real - http://www.churchofreality.org/wisdom/welcome_home/
Looks like nice people.
The story of their tax exemption is an interesting one.
I wish they were getting a message out into the infosphere with a higher volume.
I'm not religious, so it's kind of a moot point to me, but I like their attitude. Reality deserves more veneration and celebration than it gets.

The two things that really struck me - first - if the owner of Wikipedia feels the need to delete them as a "non-notable" tells me that there is pure censorship when it comes to accepting and deleting religious entries in that online site - and I will be doing a post separately on the ways that Wikipedia has censored much of its online content based on political beliefs (but that is a different issue)
Second - the fact that these are people I have respected for ages - people that were the inner workings of the EFF and Mitch Kapors' ideals - drove me to find out more about them and to come to understand the forces involved - and completely matched what I felt I had been "preaching" for over 40 years.

If the owner of Wikipedia wants to put a picture of a naked man having sex with a rock, that's his responsibility. It's not censorship.
Censorship is when the GOVERNMENT shuts you up. Not when a private business choses what it will or will not say or have said with their name attached to it. That's called business.

censorship is when "anyone" prevents your ideas from being promulgated - I understand your background and see where you might think its limited to government - but in the US it is anyone that stifles free speech
