The senate is working on a finance reform bill that will make future bailouts of wall street illegal but the republican leadership is fighting it. The republican leader McConnell had a secret meeting last week with wall streets fat cats and now he is against keeping banks from being to big to fail.
What is the deal here? Do republicans actually think the American people want to have their economy subject to the whims and greed of a few Wall Street banks that are willing to risk this nations security for private gain.
Republicans were not happy enough with trashing millions of jobs and risking the nations economy. Now they will fight to keep from changing the rules so tax payers do not need to bail out giant investment banks.
