Police estimate that 13,000-16,000 Tea Party patriots showed up in Boston today to listen to Sarah Palin's speech and rally against government spending.
This my friends is an example of people who want to be a part of the solution, rather than the problem.

partisianship has gotten so bad you can't even get a decent estimate of crowd size.
5000, or 15-20,000 is a big difference on a wednesday afternoon, even for a metro area like Boston.
5000? - ez to do
15,-20k? -that's a LOT for a weekday.

Is this what their 'change' is all about?" Palin asked a sun-splashed crowd of roughly 5,000 gathered just a mile from the site of the original Tea Party from which the movement got its name. "I want to tell them, nah, we'll keep clinging to our Constitution and our guns and religion — and you can keep the change."

The crowd estimate came from local radio talk show host Ken Pittman, who said that's the estimate he was given by Boston Police. Could he be lying? It's certainly possible, but I doubt it.

Either way, I'll not dispute you on this. I expect conservatives to over estimate the crowd, just as I expect liberals to under estimate it. I just read a story that was published within the hour that said there were no more than a few thousand there, so I expect your number is probably close to being the truth.

That's a beautiful part of the country, with a rich heritage and so much historical value. It's too bad progressives have taken it over and are going to destroy it.
I also grew up in a very beautiful town where American history is around every corner. Unfortunately, it too was taken over by anti-American progressives.

I consider myself moderate but tend to align with Republicans because Democrats target the middle class to pay for everything. Truth is, if you regulated everything like it should be to be "completely safe" we would be reading by candle light with no make-up, lotions, toothpaste, and many other personal care items. No electricity, no cars, concrete or asphalt. All of these things contain products and ingredients that could kill you in large enough doses.

Bullshit, the democrats come up with more handouts (healthcare) taxing the hell out of the middle class forcing even more into bankruptcy making them poverty level citizens dependent on government. As pointed out by Smurf we now find outselves in a Tax bubble and many will not survive but who cares, not the democrats, they just helped 15% of America get healthcare while whittling away at the 85% who already have it.
