Seems to be a bunch of chatter all over the world right now - either Cheney is up to something with a false flag op, or Iran will be attacked - or both

An investor has bet $1Bill that the markets will drop over a third by the end of September - this was my first indication - http://www.financialnews-us.com/?page=ushome&contentid=2448565379 - would give them a tidy 8 bill in profit and in my experience people that have a billion to spend are not stupid

Also from the team at the anti-war movement with a bunch of former politicians - a new letter is out: http://infowars.net/articles/august2007/270807Warning.htm

The National Terrorism Center is speaking out as well: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/20466414/site/newsweek/page/0/

A battalion of air defense troops has been moved to Wash DC this week:
http://www.wesh.com/news/13949580/detail.html

My own old post that detailed one scenario of an Iranian freighter might be too good of a plan - seems with yesterdays arrest of the Iranian electricity backbone support team in Iraq by US forces that the US has already taken the first step of aggression - of course with Bush spouting off about a holocaust in his speech he basically declared war anyway

And fianally - the west coast of the US is alive with chatter of terrorism:
http://www.prisonplanet.com/articles/august2007/230807Chatter.htm
especially since the Oakland Bay Bridge is now going to be closed down for the Labor day weekend at the last minute - something that never happens except during earthquakes
"The FBI in Seattle, as well as the Washington Joint Analytical Center (WJAC), have asked for the public's help in identifying two men spotted aboard Washington state ferries exhibiting unusual behavior. A number of ferry passengers have reported the two men showing strange behavior."

Of course Iran will be attacked. Halliburton need contracts in place incase the republicans lose the election. The bottom line is this, once troops are sent in it is very hard to get them out. British ships like Illustrious have been there for a while as my dad got back a few months ago from it.

Yep, looks like the shadow government is going to set off fake terror attacks in US cities before Sept 21st.

If the attacks come, whatever you do, don't believe the official story.

If Iran is attacked, and I highly doubt it will be considering they've stepped down much of their plutonium refinement, it will most likely be a small surgical strike, not a mass invasion. We don't have the troops for an invasion right now.

If I had my druthers, I'd just send a black ops team in, kill the Iranian leadership and bug out. If the world accuses us, we could say we didn't do it. Win/Win.

Anyway, love to see democrats beating up on innocent American companies like Halliburton. They just happened to be the ONLY American company that could promise the work would be completed that had the right clearances. Halliburton also only subcontracts and thus employs literally 10s of thousands of small businesses and contractors.

Go ahead, put them out of business and shut America's economy down with it. Great idea!

Jennifer hearts Halliburton.

Jennifer is seriously bonkers. Yeah send in Black Ops and take out their leaders.

Iran has more right to nuclear weapons than America as they are less violent than America.

When has Iran invaded a country for oil?

Jennifer - Halliburton is not an American company anymore - they are now residing in the UAE to avoid prosecution on their contract investigations and have sold off KBR subsidiary - seems the US military had to start investigating their defrauding of the pentagon and sending contaminated food and water to the troops in Iraq.

The only way they are still connected to the US is that you as a taxpayer are now supporting a United Arab Emirates company with your tax dollars

Has anyone read executive order 51.

When the prearranged terror attack happens Bush has decided to give himself power over all branches of government and to force military law on all of us for no less then 90 days.

mwillman - those orders have been in place for 74 years - as a matter of fact we have been living under a declared state of emergency since 1933

The only thing that makes this order different that Bush signed this year is it takes the congress out of the loop as they were in every prior order - they no longer have oversight power which makes the president a defacto dictator

Thats exactly what Im talking about.

I understand the need for laws that allow increases in government power during legitimate emergencies.

I do not understand the president giving himself ultimate power with no oversight.

And and Cheney said he won't be running in '08. It can only be because he won't be leaving office anyway. Do you konspiracy freaks really think Bush has enuf' support from anywhere to mount a coup?

moonman - Im no conspiricy theorist - but Bush doesnt need a coup - he already has written authorization to take over the country in the event of an emergency - its a power he gave himself a few months ago with this (you can read the part they let you see at the white house's site):

I can't imagine a catastrophe of such proportion, including but not necessarily limited to, 12 suitcase nukes going off simultaneously in our 12 largest cites, a financial meltdown which I do expect this fall, a web based attack that fries our communication infrastructure or any combination thereof or other event that would frighten the American People such that Bush would be permitted to suspend elections.

He can write all EO's and signing statements he wants. Enforcing EO's is an entirely different issue.

scary stuff.

Linkster: Thanks for the Halliburton update & the exec order 51 info.

moonman - the way the EO is written all it would take is another hurricane that kills a few people - or an attack say on SF via the ferrys as has been proposed as a likely scenario - or maybe the bridge out there?
That is the problem with that EO is it is so loosely written that any natural or man-made little disaster can trigger it

When these rogues want to sell an unsellable war they choreograph a 'terrorist' event to fool & subdue a gullible public.

Putin did it blowing up 300 Russians in an apartment building bombing & blamed it on Chechens.

NSA did it on 911 performing humanly impossible aerobatics & blaming it on a bunch of incompetents who happened to be arab.
They probably farmed it out to israelis who were caught blowing up vans & driving trucks full of explosives on 911 as well as photographing & cheering as the WTC towers fell from their New Jersey viewing point. Fox did some good reporting on the Israeli connection that Rupert & the criminal elite subsequently managed to rip off the air & bury.

How cynical is too cynical?
I haven't found that dividing line, . . . yet.
