I love the sound of Republicans whining in the morning. Boo-hoo-hoo. The GOP lost the presidency and a big congressional election back in 2008. With the passage of President Obama's healthcare bill, they've now lost the most significant domestic political battle since the 1960s. So naturally the light of freedom has been extinguished, the U.S. Constitution voided, capitalism doomed and the nation fallen into a dark totalitarian nightmare.

I wouldn't mind the whine so much if it wasn't for the hangover.

I agree. The United States is a fucked up mess thanks to your pals. We can now expect 10+% unemployment and over $5 gas as the norm very soon.

People like hawkeye don't care as they are part of the problem. They need someone to spoon feed them and wipe their asses because they are helpless vegetables.

The five dollar gas came under the leadership of your side not mine.

You're confused. The President doesn't raise and lower gas prices. That was a market thing.
I'm talking about the added taxes by the Feds for health care over the next few years on gasoline.

Hawkeye doesn't understand how markets work. He thinks the President waves his hand and it makes gas prices rise and fall. They love the idea of a dictator running their lives.

Neither 'side' pleases me right now mostly because they are different shades of the same color.

I agree. One thing for sure is going to happen. We are about to get our asses taxed off.
