View Full Version : Proof of Liberal Media - they allow Iraqi moslem prayer on primetime

We are war with Iraq - especially the sunnis. Why is there a sunni moslem praying to to their false prophet on Big Brother?

Isn't this proof that the liberal media supports Bin Laden and Saddam Hussein? Both sunnis, BTW!

It's the sunnis that are killing our troops.

I guess that's enough proof for me. Let's go and arrest media operator right now.

I know you're joking, but you have to admit, it does send a mixed message.

Would people be laughing if there was a satanist praying demonic prayers on big brother?

Think how subtly the message is being sent to the young people who watch that show.

And why is sunni prayer the only prayer being shown? If the network was being fair, why not show them all praying?

he is on there because women love him, according to my girlfriend :D

but i would say it is because we are all suppose to believe that all these wars and conflicts going on have nothing at all to do with religion because religion can do no harm so showing religion on tv is never a bad think(g) even if it isn't christianity

my motto is: religion is the root of all evil

Bill, TV has only one loyalty, MONEY. They will show whatever the most people will watch, because that gives them the most advertising $$$$. They do not support the Sunnis, the Sieks, the Muslims, the Catholics, etc. They simply put on whatever the largest number of assholes will watch. If you object to this, switch the TV off. By watching you are increasing the viewing figures by 1, so increasing the chance of more of this.

The only supporters of Bin Laden or Saddam Hussein in this case are the people who watch the show.

(Although please note I am commenting on Bill's post and the general policy of TV. I do not watch Big Brother, so have to assume that what he is saying about content of the show is 100% accurate. The reason I do not watch Big Brother is not political, it is because the show is a boring pile of shit - IMHO.)

That's why the FCC needs to step in and put a stop to this favoritism and money-lust indoctrination.

I'm just saying, if they have a satanic verses moslem praying, they should have a Baptist praying too.

Most of the people in this country are good Christians who pray to the real God - but do you ever see that on primetime? No you don't.

Tommy

you want the FCC to stop people from praying on TV ???

Bill
07-25-2006, 05:18 PM
Well, that doesn't make any sense.

Have you seen the big brother show? They make a big deal about how pious and religious that moslem guy is, and show him praying.

But, everyone knows that black woman is also very religious and faithful, but do they show her praying? No they don't.

We are at war, you know. Moslem terrorists came into this country and killed thousands of people, and moslems all over the world celebrated. You saw it. We all saw it.

They're pious, all right - pious about killing Americans.

Do you think we would have seen Japanese praying on TV during WWII?

Tommy

I never seen the show, I never even heard of it

it was hard to make sense of your posts
by big brother i thought you ment the goverment :-)

If you don't watch TV, how can you consider yourself informed about the issues facing our country?

It is pretty much the official media of our nation. We invented it, we perfected it. It's our duty to watch TV, so we can be informed. That's why the FCC should be watching out for our interests.

I don't like the Big Brother show either, but the wife was watching it, and they were showing moslem prayer.

Our boys are dying every day to defend us against moslem terrorists. It just makes me so mad that people don't care that American soldiers are dying.

I think that you're looking to far into a TV show. It's a TV show. When watching many TV news reports are you staying informed or are you getting the opinion of that TV show host?

I don't think the Big Brother TV show is making any kind of political statement.

Yes, I do care that our sons and daughters (yes, if you watch TV they'll tell you that women are there too now) are dying and I want to being them home. Of course I never wanted them to go to a country that was no real threat to the us any way.

It has just crossed my mind: Why the hell is showing a Muslim praying (presumably to Allah or Mohamed) showing support to anyone? It is (and I use the term loosely) a documentary showing how other religions worship. Hell the History Channel keeps showing programs about Germany's motivation behind WW2, are you assuming that the History Channel supports Nazis?

Also, I am a Catholic, I was educated in a Catholic school, and one of the subjects I had to study was "Religious Knowledge" (it being a catholic school, this was compulsory up to 16). That included lessons on all other religions including Muslim religions. So are you saying my Catholic school was secretly a Muslim stronghold (and a Jewish stronghold, and a Hindu stronghold, and a Buddhist stronghold...etc.)?

The point is that the way they are showing it makes it seem like moslems are more pious than good American Christians.

If CBS isn't making a political statement, why are they showing it? There's only one good explanation - to promote sympathy for the enemy.

It's true that moslems make a big deal about public prayer. They like to pretend they are more religious than Christians.

And ecchi - this isn't the history channel, this is prime time mom-and-pop-and-the-kids television.

Is it possible that maybe they're concerned about ratings, making money for share holders and keeping their jobs?

After all, not only are you watching the show but you're discussing it. Isn't that a great way to improve ratings?

CBS isn't channel that promotes political and religious teachings. That would be Fox News.

I guess I must be a terrorist at heart - my answer - and recommendation to anyone who really wants to hurt the US - would be to bomb all the TV networks, cable news channels, religious paid programming channels etc - and the weather channel.
Then, not only would US citizens be forced to start thinking for themselves - they would have to go outside to figure out what clothes to wear for the day

Only if you assume that 'good American Christians' don't pray. Your post is becoming more insulting to America than anything you hear in France!

No, it is to make money. A I said before, if people did not watch it, they would not show it. If American viewers wanted to watch aardvarks swimming in custard, then that is what you would see on TV, but it isn't, for some reason what Americans (and most of the world) want to see is people living in a house together living their lives, which is what this Muslim is doing when he prays

And ecchi - this isn't the history channel, this is prime time mom-and-pop-and-the-kids television.
I was using the History channel as an example. It makes no difference what channel it is on, they all just want the viewing figures.

Maybe I'm over-reacting to seeing a sunni praying on primetime.

It's just that I walked in the room and saw a segment showing how pious he is, and it rubbed me the wrong way.

The moslems all think they are more pious than us, that's the trip they are on.

Bill, you seem like an educated and intelligent man. How did you become so close minded and prejudice?

I know a number of Muslims and none of them think they are more pious then anyone else. While I'm sure that some do I am also sure that some Christians believe the exact opposite.

Why can't individual just be seen as individuals since that's what they are. Lumping all the Muslims, Christians, Buddhists or any religious group into one bag is just nuts.

I've spent my life in the USA hearing things like they're all the same when referring to blacks, Mexicans, Jews, Catholics, Communists, Republicans and Democrats. The statement has always been far from the truth.

Bill

I'd accept them just fine if they weren't trying to kill us.

European countries have a huge problem now with muslims moving in and outbreeding the native europeans. Their priests, called Imams, have released fatwas, edicts, saying something like "If we can't beat them with guns and bombs, we will beat them with babies.".

Their logic is that they have the most recent 'prophet', they are more religious than the Christians and Jews, and it is God's will that they rule over us because of this.

I'm not making it up that they think they are more pious than us. Read some of their writings.

By definition, most of the muslims in the US are already less pious and more about making money than their relatives in the middle east.

Or, maybe they are pretending, and are secretly part of a terror cell.
