Bush hit over jobs for illegal workers

If President Bush is serious about getting tough on U.S. employers who hire illegal aliens, he can start with his own administration, which employs thousands of unauthorized workers, says the top Republican on the House immigration subcommittee.

Already over 1/2 a million are using this SS# access to be criminally employed.

The problem is broader than just federal hiring. Very clear why the criminal government won't enforce its own laws,
because it is the law breaker itself.

If I am not mistaken these SSI numbers were in fact issued BUT not so an illegal could be employed but so an illegal could access welfare, foodstamps, housing, etc. In fact, these SSI numbers were supposed to be marked in such a way one would know they were not eligible for employment in this country.

This also can not be blamed just on Bush. This goes way back and this is one issue that really ticks me off -illegal or legal.

Stormy - I believe that you will find that when it comes to the US Government that the department responsible for controlling access to those SSI numbers is a department under Bush who has the ultimate responsibility for anything performed in those departments. Unfortunately, it seems that the responsibility-taking only happens when it is something that favors his position and usually it falls on an underling if it is something detracting from his stature.
(added) This is also based only on an audit of 2006 - so it definitely falls within the current administrations pervue.

And yes you are correct that those numbers are marked to prevent employment - and that is the point of the article - that the department isnt even screening who the Government employs to the tune of being 17 of the top 100 employers of illegals among various departments.
And just a point is that those numbers are no longer issued, however the 500,000 or so illegals using them are still employed

You haven't read the background of Dubya and Cheney have you? This is part of the PNAC economic plan. You probably voted for it twice and didn't even know what you were voting for.

We need illegal aliens to fill the jobs of US Citizens murdered before birth! We murdered over 20 million babies, we need those 12-20 million (depending on who's numbers you believe) illegals to fill those jobs!

Besides, we all know a starving disabled veteran living in a cardboard box on the street of some city alley would never take a job at $5.85/hr (current minimum wage, soon to be $7.25/hr) doing such menial tasks like saying "Sir" or "Ma'am" while asking for a person's order. Heck, they don't like eating!

Besides, if we listen to the Dems, they're all murdering baby killers and all Americans are pieces of dung who don't want to do any job that requires you to sweat in the process....you know, like mowing lawns, cleaning houses, cleaning restaurants bathrooms, etc.

It's much better to have millions of semi-literate, undocumented laborers you can under pay, over work, kill, maim, or destroy over a period of time with no government intervention because, hey, they arn't really here anyway! It's almost like having the African-Americans again, only now they're Mexican/Latino's! We have to pay them slightly better, but hey, at least people like John Edwards, John Kerry, Bill Clinton and George W. Bush have their slaves again!
