Anybody feeling entrepreneurial? I've seen some pretty good ideas on this site, but they are scattered throughout a thousand threads. It's obvious most of us have put a lot of thought into our beliefs, so why not find a way to channel it into something like a book, or a talk radio show, or a news website? If you believe that hard work pays, then let's create some jobs.
The other thing I see here is frustration. Whether you're left, right, center or nuts, all of us sound like things aren't going our way. That the goverment isn't listening to us. Well right now we can barely listen to each other. We don't have to agree, we just have to use each other to flesh out a coherent stand for each of our points of view. Then maybe we can find some solutions that would be powerful enough to catch on.
Here's one way to start. Connect with some other bloggers that you agree with, then we'll pick one issue and each group will take turns addressing it. Each response should come after your group has agreed on it and who should deliver it. Also, try to clearly identify your facts, assumptions and opinions; and it might be best to avoid personal attacks and name calling. I doubt that will happen but it gives me a warm and fuzzy think'n 'bout it.
Anyway, I'm probably gonna get a lot of "Who do you think you are?" but I really don't see anything wrong with suggesting we should start a business with all the effort we're making here, instead of just letting our ideas drown in a sea of threads.
