Following prayers last Friday (Feb 28), worshippers at the Al Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem "began throwing rocks at the police and visitors to the site".
After yesterday's prayer services, young Arabs began throwing rocks down on the Jews praying at the Western Wall below the Temple Mount platform where the mosque is located.
All of the Israeli papers carried both stories. So far, the NYT doesn't talk about yesterday's events. As to the week earlier, stories focussed more on President Abbas' claims that the riots show Israeli provocation, rather than bad behavior on the part of the Arabs.
