View Full Version : FOX got caught with dirty fingers in the WIKI
I'm not going to post a link - this is all over the place - meta filter and boing boing, two of my faves, both covered it.
A little IP sleuthing in the WIKI editing logs showed that an IP owned by FOX NEWS was used to make some pretty creepy and self-serving edits. Your basic shit, FOX great, liberals bad, blah blah blah.
I gather tonight Brit Hume slammed wikipedia - they got caught, so naturally they try to discredit the folks whose pages they got caught degrading.
They loves their dirty tricks.

They loves their dirty tricks. I wonder how many liberal media types contribute/ edit on wiki. Do you think more than Fox? 100 times more? 1000? Or is that not pertinent here?

simply contributing is one thing,
lying & degrading it is another.
You love these liars & deceivers don't you, Southernman?
You are on the side of wickedness & corruption,
the force of darkness.

As I understand it, neocons are also free to use the new tool that makes it easy to find out who made certain edits.

Actually the necons found way too many facts on Wiki so they created conservapedia or something like that. It's hilarious.

We do not allow liberal censorship of conservative facts. Wikipedia editors who are far more liberal than the American public frequently censor factual information. Conservapedia does not censor any facts that comport with the basic rules.
....
We do not ban users based on their comments elsewhere, such as on their own blog. Wikipedia will monitor users' blogs and ban them for their exercise of free speech on their own blogs. http://www.conservapedia.com/Conservapedia:How_Conservapedia_Differs_from_Wikip edia
Sounds a lot more impartial than Wiki.
