View Full Version : Rove is OUT! Gone in days!
Finally some good news!
"Karl Rove, U.S. President George W. Bush's senior political adviser, is to resign at the end of August, CNN has confirmed.
Rove, who has held a top position in the White House since Bush took office in January 2001, is to stand down on August 31.
"I just think it's time," Rove told the Wall Street Journal (WSJ). "There's always something that can keep you here, and as much as I'd like to be here, I've got to do this for the sake of my family.""
You know, "Family" is often code for "They got something really dirty on me...".

Not the best news of the day but I'll take it. I was hoping to see Rove do a perp walk out of the WH.

Rove probably knows where a lot of bodies are buried,
he probably buried a lot of them himself.
I wonder how tempted the NSA is to off him with an 'accident' or 'quick fatal illness' to insure he can't reveal all the crimes that have been committed?
If i were him i would live quite carefully.
he probably has none too few enemies from the left as well.
I suppose the NSA could have some really damning blackmail material on him.
Seeing him try to imitate a rap artist, he obviously isn't above the occasional illconsidered action. All it takes is one really horrific act caught on recording to keep someone pretty well zipped up.
Gee, your reaction was just as predicted.
I just hope they continue to investigate him untill his eyeballs bleed and he has spent his last penny on lawyers.
Then it would be so very, very nice to see him hauled away in handcuffs for a ten year stint behind bars.
That would be TRULY good news.
I'm out following Rove links, looking for the real reason he quit, because, as we all know, the "family" line is always an excuse.
I just thought this line was so accurate:
"Rove pretty much had a free hand to run Bush’s domestic agenda — Rove’s agenda, really — just as Cheney was in charge of foreign policy while the Boy King rode his bicycle and took naps."

And now the Boy King is even more isolated.

Sad day for people with BDS.
Good day for those of us who dislike Rove for reasons other than he knows GWB.
A nice twist on the original usage, Kres...

Originally intended to be an insult to the non-republicans, now very appropriately applied to those who still cleave to the Boy King, Bush the Lesser.

I laughed at this when I first heard of it, then I came here and suddenly it had some merit.

How tragicomic that your mind perceives that to be the issue.
It doesn't matter - your kind messed things up so badly your icons are packing their bags - so believe what you want - just clean up your mess before you go.
Not that you have either the intention or the ability to do so.

Not that you have either the intention or the ability to do so. How was your personal hatred for Rove not the single most expressed point of your post?
I've noticed a tactic of your is to avoid intelligent debate at all cost. It's not hard to guess the reason.
Far be it for me to expect intellectual honesty from you.

Karl seems to have varying numbers of children at his home.
What is that all about?
He told us how that we come to his house and we had disturbed his two children, a 10-year-old and 14-year-old.http://www.democracynow.org/article.pl?sid=04/03/30/1522246
In January 1986, Rove married Darby Tara Hickson, a graphic designer and former employee of Karl Rove + Co. They have a son, Andrew Madison Rove, born in 1989.[6] He is an undergraduate at Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas. Hickson is a breast cancer survivor.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Karl_Rove#Second_marriage
So where did the 10 y/o pop into & out of being?
Hopefully not another victim of human sacrifice at Bohemian Grove?
Or a victim of Republican pedophilia as in the Franklin Child Sex abuse scandal that congress paid the Discovery Channel 2 million dollars to cover up & destroy their documentary?
