Seems in the times when everyone else is saying we should do the opposite - as usual Bush comes out with stupid ideas to help out his buddies - again

Corporate tax cuts are a good thing. We have among the highest corporate taxes in the world and are paying the price.
We need to raise taxes on the poor and middle class to make sure we are all paying our fair share. This will put more pressure on Congress to practice discretionary spending. Maybe next time we won't be in such a rush to run to war if we all have to pay for it, instead of most of the bill going to 5% of the population.

Corporations used to pay the majority of US tax revenues,
now people who actually work for a living do.
Bush just wants to increase this perversion from the traditional US norm.
These corporations don't create US jobs, they outsource them & take them away, wtf give them a f-ing tax break?
The use a Cayman Isle PO. Box & accounting gimmickry to duck US taxes, while you have to stare down the gun barrel of IRS enforcement agents.
This is complete crap from the white house imposter, Bush.
String him the NSA & all the NeoCriminals up on lampposts as a warning to anyone considering doing similar things.

do you have any rational evidentiary counters,
or are you just spinning
like a spider, its web?

Anything i post will simply be discounted as not true. Why waste my time? It's common sense anyway. Other countries have been lowering their corporate tax liability for years to improve their economies. We are one of the few actually looking to stick it to the institutions that employ us and provides us with relatively all of our goods and services.
Either way, raising taxes on the poor and middle class is a good thing. The rich and business pay too much in taxes. Can they afford it? Sure. Is it good for suck a small portion of the population to be responsible for so much of the burden? No. It gives the politcians too much power.

I take it you don't what a neocon is?
A neocon would not be saying the things I am saying.

corporations get their political power from special interest lobbying & giving large campaign contributions, NOT from actually paying their share of taxes.
Can't you get your ducks in a row?
they don't create US jobs, the just loot the US treasury with graft & corruption, involving us in adventurist, unnecessary & worst, counter-productive wars. Bechtel, Halliburton, Blackwater, Big Oil, etc.
Small & medium companies are the ones who create real innovation & jobs.
Big dinosaur corporations sit on & block patents so they can monopolize the US economy with entrenched, dated & destructive technologies.
Pharmaceutical companies pedal new patented drugs with TV ads & FDA complicity, while older, safer & often more effective off-patent drugs languish because of Doctor bribery by drug firms.
We are spending billions on Star Wars for which an effective technology prototype hasn't even been built. Another pentagon money toilet.
Big corporations are a drag on the US economy & Americans in general, reasonable taxation is in order, ending the freeloading off US citizens.

Government wastes money and sells out to corporate interests???? No way!!!!
I only say this all the time.
Doesn't change the fact that cutting corporate taxes are good. Big business isn't that affected by corporate taxes, the little guys are.
Also there is a simple solution to ending the power of corporations... don't give them your money. No one is forcing you to. (save a few a government bail outs and subsidies that can be done away with simply by voting the Reps and Dems out of office).
Corporate taxes are double taxation anyway, and taxation without representation. However, I know you don't care as long as big evil corporations are punished.
Actually Europe has cut corporate taxes by about 14% and we haven't made any changes so as a single issue it seems like a good idea. The problem is just trying to look at the issue as a single issue and it's far more complicated.
The idea of tax cuts is always good but there needs to be something else to make up for the loss of revenues.
It's kind of like a business slashing prices 20%. It works great if they can find away to make up the lost revenue.
Unfortunately, since the admin is running a very liberal economy that's being boosted by borrowing money then more tax cuts are not a good idea by themselves.
So, while I think cutting corporate taxes is a great idea, I want to see how the lost revenue will be made up. Let's not keep accepting it will happen in 10 years because borrowed money needs to be reinvested in order for it to be a good thing.

The lost revenue needs to be made by cutting spending.
Also it is possible to cut taxes and increase revenues. Not saying that will happen here, just pointing out is is possible.
Corporate taxes seem like a good way to punish evil corporations, but in the need they only hurt the little guy. Corporations will merely cut quality of products or fire employees to make up the difference. Not to mention the harm it causes to small business.

Raising taxes on corporations effectively raises taxes on the people. Corporations don't pay taxes.
It seems like whenever the economy is discussed, liberals come up with stupid ideas to screw ours up.

Nah, they will just always disagree with Bush. Despite being the most liberal Republican president in recent memory, they hate him. Bush finally does something right, and they still attack him. It just shows how much partisanship is hurting our country.
