How many illegals?
How many non-union, uneducated, uncertified?
How many didn't know what they were doing?
Where were all those workmen during rescue attempts? during the interviews last night?

This bridge was over 40 years old, and at the time it was built, it was built to hold only a certain amount of truck load for the era it was built in. Since then, trucks have gotten bigger, and weigh more. And, maintenance money for bridges in America is severly under funded-approximately 2 billion a year, when they need 10 billion a year. As soon as this happened, many people who lived where this happened started saying prejudice sh#t like, "We have a lot of Muslims who live here, the Muslims did this." And, others said what you have said, and want to find a specific group to blame for what is clearly due to lack of proper maintenance.:disbelief:
I can't imagine that even 100 illegal aliens could have caused the mismanagement needed to have a bridge completely collapse. It appears that a report was written that clearly stated that the stress fractures were of little importance and there was no need to spend the money to fix the bridge.
This report wasn't written by an illegal alien, uneducated or uncertified individual or group of individuals. This report was written by people that were encouraged to write what they did.

Instead of investing in the infrastructure of this nation & maintaining what already exists, this nation's treasury is being looted by Bechtel, Halliburton, Blackwater, GE, big oil companies & all the rest.
one to two TRILLION dollars will be squandered to create terrorists in Iraq & around the globe, with the outrage of this counterproductive adventurism.
You saw how well this nation's government took care of Katrina.
As per usual it was used to funnel graft to Bechtel & Halliburton's KBR instead of any of it getting to the people who need it.
Hundreds of billions spent with perhaps a couple of billions worth of actual results produced.
And worse it is not enough just to rob you, they are robbing your children & yet unborn americans,
NOT to repair levies & bridges, or to save lives in times of need,
But to create terrorists & to give Paris Hilton a bigger inheritance.
It is all about priorities.
What are theirs?
What are yours?
do they really match?
They don't even come close to mine.
