Dang, it's a big news day...

Bush's Cheif Justice has a seizure, goes down.

Republican senator raided for FBI and IRS.

CNN admits the "Terror Dry Runs" story was bogus - but doesn't explain where they got the story from. Convienient, how it bumped Bush's woes off the headlines.

The house has filed a Bill to start articles of impeachment against Speedy.

And teh Iraqi lawmakers started their summer break, without passing any of the "benchmarks", including especially the first part of the oil law, which would have privatized the Iraqi oil infrastructure and allowed international companies to start writing 50 year contracts.

So our soldiers get a two month "hiatus" in which no political movement is possible.

Pretty hectic day, for the hot final days of July.

Dubya took the longest vacation of any first year President in the history of America. 2 weeks later the worst terrorist strike in US history occurred but it wasn't Dubya's fault.

Law makers in Iraq taking a month off is just fine according to Dubya and Snow.
