View Full Version : I hear LOWES has dropped it's ads for O'Reilly - Go Lowes!
I shop at lowes all the time - it's the big home improvement store in my area.
So I was real pleased to hear that Lowes dropped it's ads on O'Reillys hatefest.
I guess the 71-year old demographic just don't have the buying power. I'll bet the Hemorrhoid cream boys will be sticking with O'Really tho...
Thank you Lowes - I think I'll drive in this weekend and buy some stuff I've been meaning to get for the garden and the house.

I've been buying from OW Houts for 30 years - but they close at 5pm sharp. Nice selection of tools tho.
And I'm pretty sure they don't advertise on FOX, so it wouldn't make much sense to praise them for dropping ads.

Does it matter to you that Lowe's decision had nothing to do with your claims? Dear Lowe's Customer,
Thank you for your comments regarding the program, The O'Reilly Factor.
Lowe's has strict guidelines that govern the placement of our advertising. Our company advertises primarily in national, network prime-time television programs and on a variety of cable outlets.
Lowe's constantly reviews advertising buys to make certain they are consistent with its policy guidelines. The O'Reilly Factor does not meet Lowe's advertising guidelines, and the company's advertising will no longer appear during the program.
We are dedicated to providing the best service, products, and shopping environment in the home improvement industry. All three of these are very important to our business, and our customers will always be our number one priority.
We appreciate your contacting us, and hope this information addresses your concerns.
Thank you,
Lowe's Customer Care

You're losing credibility big time, Billy Boy. You're deep into the negatives now.

what's not to get? Billy Boy O'Reilly is clearly losing credibility with major advertisers.
the fact that southern really doesn't see that he proved Bill right is just a comedical bonus, good way to start off a monday morning if you ask me :D
now that one advertiser has fallen it shouldn't be too hard to get the rest to fall in line, once one goes the rest will tumble... a few letter writing campaigns to current advertisers should do the trick, I learned that from watching South Park :D
