What was your first car?
Mine was 71 Jeepster Commando, almost identical to this one.

Back in high school, most of my friends had muscle cars like you guys did.
They drove when we wanted to hot-rod around town.
I had the 4WD, I drove when we wanted to get drunk and lost in the mountains.

my car was a dog-literally, it had a windsor instead of a cleveland 351, I sold it and bought a 69 corvette with a 427 4 speed with my first tobacco crop.

Lucky you... My parents sensed that I would likely kill myself, if they allowed me to drive anything more powerful than a 6 cylinder.:banghead:

Can't find a picture of the exact same car, but mine was a hardtop silver 1968 Cougar XR7, with burgundy interior.

that is the nice thing about growing up in a rural area, I was driving by 14 and even drove to school a few times at 15.
